Nov. 2, Manama (BNA): A new digital platform called “Masajid” was introduced by the Jaafari Endowments Directorate with the goal of improving mosque management and streamlining field and administrative tasks. The software supports initiatives to update supervision procedures and boost service effectiveness by focusing on caregivers and religious personnel.
Jaafari Endowments launch “Masajid” app
The “Masajid” app offers a number of integrated features, such as the ability to keep an eye on mosque operations, make sure that prayers open on time, and keep track of attendance. It also makes it possible to electronically submit requests for cleaning and sanitization supplies, maintenance, and furnishings. The software also makes it easier for formal announcements and updates about mosque matters to be distributed.
Maher Alawi Mahfoodh, a council member, presented the goals and features of the app in detail during a Jaafari Endowments Council meeting, emphasizing how it aligns with the Directorate’s broader development and digital transformation aims. A specialized training program to acquaint caregivers with the new system would shortly be introduced, he continued.
The efforts of Maher Alawi Mahfoodh and the project team from the Directorate and the implementing business were commended by Yusuf bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Council, and Council members for their professionalism and dedication to completing the project to the highest standards.
According to Al Saleh, the introduction of “Masajid” is a reflection of the Directorate’s continuous pursuit of digital transformation and service excellence, which aims to improve communication, expedite processes, and enhance the entire experience for worshippers and mosque visitors.
