Dec. 6, Manama (BNA): The Bahrain Animal and Agriculture Production Show (Mara’ee 2025) will take place from December 9–13, 2025, under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. In accordance with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to promote and maintain domestic agricultural production, the exhibition is one of the biggest venues in the area devoted to agricultural and livestock production and supports national food security initiatives.
Mara’ee 2025 to expand participation, support investment in agriculture and livestock
A heritage village, a farmers’ market, a livestock market, a children’s play area, an art exhibition, agricultural and animal exhibitions, and other events are all part of this year’s large local and international involvement. There will be an international horse exhibition as part of the program, and exhibitors from GCC and Arab nations will participate.
The show is organized by the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, which hopes to improve food security and support national initiatives to increase the contribution of the livestock and agriculture industries. The occasion draws attention to Bahrain’s initiatives to encourage investment in sustainable livestock and agricultural development. Bahrain is still positioned as a regional hub for conferences and exhibits, and “Mara’ee” is a major event that attracts a lot of people from all over the region.
In addition to providing a venue for showcasing the most recent advancements in agriculture and animal production, the expo supports national environmental and afforestation projects. Along with family-friendly activities, it promotes knowledge sharing, conducts educational programs for children and youth, and gives financial opportunities for Bahraini farmers and breeders.
In order to increase investment opportunities in specialized breeding programs, “Mara’ee 2025” will also feature rare Arabian horse breeds and cattle variations maintained by Bahraini breeders. The event draws businesses and agricultural production specialists, demonstrating the advancements made in creating an integrated framework that promotes investment in the industry, diversifies production sources, and supports food security.
The exhibition’s goals include showcasing the experiences of Bahraini farmers and breeders, encouraging engagement and business interchange between exhibitors, investors, and buyers, and advancing agricultural and livestock growth through the display of innovative technologies.
