Manama, Jan. 19 (BNA): The Ministry of Industry and Commerce created the industrial plots leasing service to boost productivity and improve the beneficiary experience as part of government initiatives to improve service quality and reengineer processes.
Industry Ministry develops Industrial Plots Leasing Service
The Ministry revised the leasing request assessment and approval process, which led to quicker processes and the elimination of a number of necessary papers, such as copies of the investor’s ID or passport, the organizational structure of the business, and product photos. This was accomplished by automating internal review procedures and integrating the technology with other government agencies.
According to Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, the service is a reflection of the Ministry’s utilization of cutting-edge digital solutions that improve productivity, transparency, and resource efficiency while saving beneficiaries time and effort.
The development is in line with broader government activities that assist service quality improvement and digital transformation. Over 1,300 services have been documented and released under these projects, and about 800 services have been reengineered across government sectors.
