Manama, Nov. 11 (BNA): The Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, announced the opening of a new program at the Customer Service Center with the goal of improving assistance for residents who get benefits from the Housing Finance Program.
Housing Ministry launches new initiative to provide real estate and financing support and advice for citizens
In order to help residents looking for housing choices through the program, banks and real estate firms will be housed inside the center as part of the project.
The minister stated that the move is part of continuous efforts to grow and enhance services offered to people and that it represents the ministry’s commitment to providing a greater variety of housing options in collaboration with the private sector.
Bareeq Al Retaj Company and the Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait would be the first to participate in the effort, she continued, offering special financing and real estate packages over the course of the next two months. According to her, the relationship is a real-world illustration of the successful cooperation between the private sector and the government.
According to Al Rumaihi, the project brings together personnel from the ministry, the Eskan Bank, and private sector organizations under one roof to provide tourists with a simple, integrated experience. This enables citizens to apply for funding and obtain consultations in person or online via the ministry’s website and the eGovernment portal.
The minister emphasized that by simplifying processes and offering specialized finance and advising services, the initiative will facilitate residents’ access to acceptable housing.
She emphasized that the ministry still takes a forward-thinking approach to service delivery, focusing on direct public participation and the development of adaptable, creative housing solutions that complement government initiatives to provide accessible and sustainable housing.

The new initiative, according to Al Rumaihi, builds on a number of successful programs, such as three iterations of the Housing Finance Exhibition, which featured real estate projects and financing options, and the exhibition held in conjunction with the Social Housing Innovation Conference, which showcased innovative housing solutions. To make its services more accessible to people around the Kingdom, the ministry has also established a mobile branch at malls.
In order to encourage competition in financing and housing offerings while supporting the development of sustainable housing, she continued, the ministry intends to broaden the initiative in the near future to include more national banks and real estate firms.
The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to programs that put residents at the center of the housing process by inviting individuals to visit the Customer Service Center to learn about the newest deals and take advantage of the services offered.
