The stations, which are situated in Diyar Al Muharraq, the Avenues, Adliya, Liwan, and Durrat Al Bahrain, are among the fastest in the area because they can charge cars up to 80% in less than 15 minutes.
According to Humaidan, the program encourages the use of renewable energy sources, like as solar electricity, and helps the Kingdom’s carbon neutrality objectives. For six months, there will be no fees in order to promote adoption.
In an effort to modernize services and promote sustainable mobility, the ministry recently released a mobile app that enables users to find charging stations, monitor availability in real time, and make digital payments.
