Manama, Mar. 3 (BNA): Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa, President of Customs, visited different customs ports for inspections in light of the present situation and developments following the Iranian strikes that targeted multiple locations in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

In addition to confirming the commitment to maximum preparation and alertness amid regional developments, the visit guaranteed the continuity of supply chains for foodstuffs, necessities, and medical supplies.
General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Minister of the Interior, expressed gratitude to Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad for the personnel’s contribution in carrying out the national customs policy and their high degree of operational efficiency and security awareness.
In order to guarantee accuracy and prompt delivery, Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad examined customs workflows and clearance processes for shipments and commodities during the inspection. In order to preserve the flow of import and export movements and guarantee the continuity of supply chains, he emphasized the significance of increased collaboration with pertinent agencies.
