Manama, Feb. 17 (BNA): In an effort to improve marine safety and control navigation, the Ministry of Interior said that the Coast Guard Command conducted a maritime awareness campaign in collaboration and coordination with Bapco Energies.

The campaign is a component of the ongoing 3D marine survey project that is being carried out in the Kingdom of Bahrain’s waters over a number of maritime locations.
In order to protect their safety and enable the project’s seamless execution in accordance with established standards, the campaign seeks to increase awareness among fishermen, boat owners, and sea users of the significance of following maritime safety guidelines and navigation regulations within operational zones.
According to the Coast Guard Command, the initiative is a continuation of its efforts to improve cooperation with pertinent entities, promote strategic projects that help the energy industry grow, and bolster field surveillance. In order to preserve lives and property, it emphasized the value of cooperation and urged the public to abide by issued instructions and avoid approaching designated survey areas.
Additionally, the Command affirmed the continuation of awareness and monitoring programs to promote marine security and safety in the Kingdom and urged sea users to use caution and adhere to published instructions.
