The BRCS discussed its active participation in educating the local community and training Society volunteers, as well as its experience in advancing international humanitarian law, during the session. The Society’s efforts in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross and the National Committee for International Humanitarian Law in Bahrain were also highlighted in the presentation.

Building and strengthening national capacity, raising awareness, and reinforcing adherence to the norms of international humanitarian law across all sectors—including both public and private institutions—are the goals of these projects.

Humanitarian and relief workers, SRCA employees, and representatives of GCC Red Crescent Societies and Authorities attended the workshop. It sought to increase dedication to humanitarian values, support projects that uphold humanitarian principles, solve issues in humanitarian work and health services through preventive measures, and urge employees and volunteers to observe international humanitarian law.
