Manama, Nov. 25 (BNA): A graduation ceremony honoring 100 trainees who fulfilled the training requirements for the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part-66 Aircraft Engineering License was recently held at the BAS Aircraft Engineering Training Centre (BAETC).

The event demonstrated the Center’s capacity to provide the next generation of technical professionals with the resources they need to advance the aviation industry locally and regionally. It was the culmination of a program created to the highest international aircraft engineering and maintenance standards.
Bahrain Airport Services (BAS) Chairman Nabeel Khalid Kanoo emphasized the graduation of a fresh group of competent trainees, demonstrating the organization’s dedication to cultivating domestic talent via top-notch training initiatives. He pointed out that investing in people boosts the competitiveness and sustainability of the industry and helps Bahrain maintain its position as a major regional center for aircraft engineering training.
Each graduate has the ability to advance aviation in Bahrain and the surrounding area, according to Mohamed Khalil, Chief Executive Officer of BAS. In order to assist the ongoing expansion of this crucial industry, many graduates are joining BAS and other prestigious national and worldwide organizations.
In accordance with the most recent technical specifications and global safety regulations, BAETC provides advanced courses that are approved by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). These courses integrate theoretical knowledge with practical application. In order to support Bahrain’s Vision 2030 and the National Aviation Strategy, which aim to diversify the economy and establish the Kingdom as a regional aviation hub, the Center is crucial in producing highly qualified individuals who can innovate and succeed in the industry.
